• lesson planning, instruction/supervision & evaluation of skill-oriented canoe daycamps • novice, intermediate & canoe tripping, on day and over-night trips • equipment inventory management & as required, maintenance of equipment and facilities

Qualifications:br /br /• excellent interpersonal skills: interact with students and the public in a professional manner, under all conditionsbr /• river paddling experiencebr /• current certification in Standard First Aid/CPRbr /• Paddle Alberta Tandem & Solo River Instructor certification, (certification courses will be arranged - subsidies may be available)br /• instruction/leadership experience with youth and adults in an outdoor settingbr /• valid drivers license; a clean driving record and light trailer towing experience would be an assetbr /• able to provide a current police record checkbr /• low-impact tripping skills would be an assetbr /• experience with Voyageur canoes would be an assetbr /• Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross or Lifeguard certification would be an assetbr /• other certifications that would be an asset, include:br /• Paddle Canada Canoe Tripping Instructorbr /• Paddle Canada Moving Water Instructor – Level I & IIbr /• Swift Water Rescuebr /• Wilderness First Aidbr /• Class 4 Drivers Licensebr /br /Employment Terms:br /Full-time, July and August.
